THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

• Register and process purchase invoices accurately within the Dealer Management/Accounting System

• Reconcile supplier statements prior to BACS payment runs

• Monitor and manage the Purchase Ledger inbox

• Handle supplier calls and correspondence in a courteous and efficient manner

• Process employee expenses for payment via BACS

• Provide month-end administrative support to the Finance team

• Maintain accurate Purchase Ledger records and update and maintain accounting databases & spreadsheets

• File purchase invoices and supplier statements accurately

• Support the wider Accounts Department with additional accounting and administrative duties

YOUR PROFILE.

• Previous experience in Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or similar finance role

• Good organisational and time-management skills

• Good numerical skills with excellent attention to detail

• Have intermediate knowledge of MS packages including Microsoft Excel

• Able to handle tasks that may be repetitive in nature, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

SALARY AND HOURS.

• Salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

• Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with an hour unpaid for lunch (37.5 hours per week).

• The role is an office-based environment
