Kiran - Service
How long have you worked for Hedin Automotive?
3 years - I started as an apprentice, and I'm now a certified BMW Service Team Manager.
Why did you choose Hedin Automotive over other companies?
Hedin Automotive were carrying out interviews at my sixth-form college, and I managed to progress through the various recruitment stages. I now work for a brand I have loved since I first got into cars.
What advice would you give to a future applicant ?
Be yourself and be honest. There is no point in lying to boost yourself, as it will only catch up to you. It's essential to be able to communicate with people positively regardless of the situation. Be a people lover.
What keeps you at Hedin Automotive?
The people I work with. It is always nice to have people around you who will encourage you and also want you to do well. Every day is a learning day, and I know that I can go and ask for advice and get it.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Being able to help people and get them back on the road is always a bonus. It's nice to see others smiling when we can fix their problems. I also love the variety of BMWs and MINIs you see coming through the workshop.
How would you describe the people in your team in three words?
Friendly, helpful, and committed.
